The Shoctor Theatre is the proscenium hall of the Citadel Theatre, a major theatre complex in downtown Edmonton near Churchill Square. Opened with the new building in 1976, this roughly 638-seat theatre is named after Joseph H. Shoctor, co-founder of the Citadel in 1965. It stages professional plays and musicals.
