The Capitol Theatre is a 243-seat hall on 1920 Street in Fort Edmonton Park, Edmonton. Opened in 2011, it faithfully recreates Edmonton's first movie theatre, built in 1929 on Jasper Avenue, complete with Art Deco design, red velvet seating and modern staging technology. It hosts classic film screenings, live performances and intimate concerts.
