Spruce Meadows is a multi-purpose sports facility south of Calgary, opened in 1975 by the Southern family and widely regarded as North America's leading equestrian venue. It also houses ATCO Field, a 6,000-seat stadium home to Cavalry FC of the Canadian Premier League, opened in 2019 and designed to keep hosting equestrian events. It stages concerts and sporting events.
