The Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium is a major performing arts theatre in Calgary's SAIT/Banff Trail area, north-west of downtown. Opened in 1957 to mark Alberta's 50th anniversary, it is the twin of Edmonton's Northern Jubilee Auditorium and seats roughly 2,500. Fully renovated in the mid-2000s, the resident home of Alberta Ballet and Calgary Opera hosts ballet, opera, touring concerts and family shows.
