Lake Louise Ski Resort is one of three major ski areas in Alberta's Banff National Park, about 57 km west of Banff. In summer it becomes a sightseeing gondola carrying visitors up to 2,101 metres, celebrated as one of the best places to safely spot grizzly bears and other wildlife in the Canadian Rockies. The Whitehorn Bistro at the top offers sweeping views over the valley.
