The beating heart of Calgary's Stampede Park, GMC Stadium is the large open-air stadium that hosts the rodeo, chuckwagon races and evening grandstand show of the Calgary Stampede each July. Formerly the Stampede Grandstand and renamed GMC Stadium in 2022, it offers about 17,000 seats plus up to 8,000 standing. Beyond the Stampede, it presents shows and events year-round.
