Winter Wine Escape

Take a scenic drive out to the Annapolis Valley to get to know 3 award-winning wineries. Sip your way through Nova Scotia's wine country and become acquainted with our cool-climate wines while the vines settle into their long winter rest. You will come to appreciate just how breathtaking the scenery is when the vines stand bare, often blanketed in snow and icicles (conditions permitting). The first stop takes you to Grand Pre Wines, the oldest farm winery in Atlantic Canada, built on love and passion for Nova Scotia, for a guided tasting that brings out the flavours and aromas distinctive to the NS terroir. You then learn the story of Lightfoot & Wolfville during a guided tasting of wines from their organically and biodynamically farmed vineyard, followed by lunch featuring ingredients sourced straight from the Lightfoot family farm. The day wraps up at Benjamin Bridge with a guided tasting of their best-loved wines. While there, make the most of the heated outdoor terrace, the vineyard trails and the glowing décor.
