The Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra pairs Britten's Four Sea Interludes with Elgar's Enigma Variations at the Centennial Concert Hall. The interludes come from the opera Peter Grimes and paint the Suffolk coast, while Elgar's variations contain the famous Nimrod. Founded in 1948, the orchestra performs in the Main Street hall in Winnipeg.
