About this event
The Winnipeg Folk Festival spreads its stages across Birds Hill Provincial Park, northeast of Winnipeg, Manitoba. Founded in 1974, this summer festival offers several days of folk, indie and roots music in a wooded setting, with on-site camping and artisans. It is one of Canada's oldest and most beloved folk gatherings, known for its warm atmosphere out in nature.
