About this event
Toronto Operetta Theatre stages Noël Coward's Bitter Sweet at the Jane Mallett Theatre, part of the St. Lawrence Centre in Toronto. First seen in London's West End in 1929, the operetta follows a young woman who defies convention to elope with her music teacher, moving from Edwardian drawing rooms to bohemian Vienna. Coward wrote the book, music and lyrics.
