About this event
Tim Blake Nelson's prison drama The Life and Deaths of Wilson Shedd screens at the Toronto International Film Festival, at the Scotiabank Theatre. Inspired by true events, it follows Karen (Amanda Seyfried), an English teacher who takes a job at an Oklahoma maximum-security prison and forms a fraught bond with inmate Wilson Shedd (Scoot McNairy). It world-premieres in TIFF's Gala Presentations.
