About this event

Planning a visit and unsure what to do in Toronto? This self-guided walking tour of the Distillery District leads you from the Big Heart through the district itself, on to the city's oldest quarters and St. James Cathedral, St. Lawrence Market, a handful of parks and numerous monuments. At each stop, solve a challenge to reveal where you head next, picking up bits of history along with interesting facts about your surroundings. Known as the Toronto Distillery District Tourist Scavenger Hunt, it is a 3.6 km / 2.2 mi self-guided walking route dotted with challenges, taking about 3 hours to finish. It makes for an enjoyable learning outing: take in the sights, absorb some local history and put your knowledge to the test. Suitable for every age, kids included, the route is wheelchair and stroller accessible throughout and welcomes pets everywhere. Begin whenever you feel ready, straight from your smartphone with no fixed schedule, and spend as little or as much time as you like completing it. One purchase covers a group of 1 to 6 people.
