Become a barista for a day! An expert guide walks you through the story of coffee around the world and in Montreal. The tour takes you to five venues, including one micro roaster, all devoted to single-origin, ethically sourced, small-batch beans. These cafés and roasters use different brewing methods, from espresso to cold brew, so you come to understand every nuance. Snacks, crudités, and pastries accompany the tastings. You will also take part in a hands-on roasting class and taste your way from espresso to Turkish coffee and on to an espresso martini. You'll be introduced to professional coffee tasting and learn to tell apart distinctive profiles through cupping. Since coffee stimulates the appetite, it is best not to arrive on an empty stomach!
