About this event
Their Master's Voice is an opera-theatre hybrid staged at Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier in Montreal's Place des Arts. Set in 1725, it brings together actor John Malkovich, two opera singers, an actress, baroque musicians and a twelve-voice choir. Malkovich plays composer Nicola Porpora, singing teacher to the castrati Farinelli and Caffarelli, in a production directed by Michael Sturminger.
