The Rivalries Unveiled of Old Montreal

On this tour of Old Montreal, you'll take in the main plaza and the leading attraction of this historic district. The starting point is Place d'Armes, right in front of Notre-Dame Basilica. From there you'll explore everything surrounding Place Jacques-Cartier, including City Hall, the Champ-de-Mars, Bonsecours Market and Château Ramezay, while looking at the various rivalries that shaped the history of Montreal. Along St-Paul street, all the way to Place Royale and passing by the Cours Le Royer, you'll enjoy the architecture of Old Montreal as you discuss the many transformations the neighbourhood has seen. At Place d'Youville, you'll mark the time when Montreal was the capital of Canada. The tour wraps up inside the World Trade Center, after exploring part of St-Jacques street's banking row that once formed the Wall Street of Canada. Please note there is no admission fee, as we do not go inside the attraction.
