Hard-driving bluegrass and black hats: The Dead South, the Regina, Saskatchewan four-piece, lands at Calgary's Wildhorse Saloon. Formed in 2012, the band won a 2018 Juno for Illusion & Doubt and powered In Hell I'll Be in Good Company past 200 million YouTube views. Onstage: guitar, banjo, mandolin and cello played with near-punk intensity. Latest album Chains & Stakes dropped in 2024.
