About this event

A guided walk of about 1.1 km along the Stanley Park seawall in Vancouver, led by a Talaysay Tours cultural ambassador. The story is told through the eyes of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) peoples: pre-contact life, the impacts of colonization and present-day resilience. Ends at the Brockton Point totem poles over a cup of Indigenous tea. Accessible path.
