Slow Joy — the music project of Esteban Flores, born in New Mexico and based in Dallas, Texas — plays Toronto. A Chicano artist between fuzzy alt-rock, shoegaze, grunge and cathartic emo. Viral TikTok singles (Crawling, Soft Slam), the Mi Amigo Slow Joy EP (2024), and debut album A Joy So Slow At Times I Don't Think It's Coming (2025), produced by Mike Sapone.
