About this event
Holiday folk ballet at the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium in Edmonton, danced by Canada's Ukrainian Shumka Dancers. This retelling of The Nutcracker blends classical ballet lines with the drive of Ukrainian character dance. The cast of more than 80 includes students from the Shumka School of Dance and guest artists from Ukraine, with choreography by Viktor Lytvynov and John Pichlyk.
