New York trio Show Me the Body at the East End United Church, Toronto. Formed in 2009, the band fuses hardcore, sludge and noise into a raw, abrasive sound built around Julian Cashwan Pratt's banjo. Their album Dog Whistle (2019) left a mark on NYC punk.
