Rüfüs Du Sol is an Australian trio formed in Sydney in 2010, made up of Tyrone Lindqvist (vocals, guitar), Jon George (keys) and James Hunt (drums). Known for their cinematic melodic house, the band won a Grammy in 2022 for the single Alive (Best Dance/Electronic Recording). Their albums Solace (2018) and Surrender (2021) went gold in Canada and regularly chart on Billboard Dance.
This Rogers Centre date marks Rüfüs Du Sol's first stadium show in Toronto — a new format for the band in Ontario, which had previously played mid-size venues here (Rebel, Echo Beach). The live show stands out for its immersive staging: tempo-synced lighting, video projections, and a continuous mix that turns the concert into a large-scale club experience.
The tour's typical set runs 90 to 120 minutes, weaving classics (Innerbloom, Underwater, You Were Right) with newer cuts. Fcukers, a New York electro-punk duo profiled by Pitchfork in 2024, opens the show. Crowds usually arrive between 6:30 and 7 p.m. for the warm-up.
Rogers Centre is at 1 Blue Jays Way, a 5-minute walk from Union Station (TTC Line 1 + GO Transit). Total capacity 53,000 in concert mode. Downtown parking is expensive and tight on a Saturday night — take the subway or GO Train instead. Doors typically open 90 minutes before showtime.
RÜFÜS DU SOL take over Toronto's Rogers Centre, with Fcukers opening. Melodic house, hypnotic beats and immersive staging — this time on a stadium scale.
