Point Saint Charles Beer Tour

Rediscover a neighbourhood set at the heart of Canada's cradle of industrialization, once home to the English, Irish, Scottish and French Canadians, and shaped by a long tradition of community engagement as well as a long brewing history. Together we'll explore beer in all its guises across the Pointe, from micro-breweries to taverns and food-and-beer pairings, alongside the story of brewing in Montreal since its early days in New France. Drink and be merry as you wander the area with a guide who knows both the local history and the beer. The outing runs about 4.5 hours on foot and covers roughly 3 kilometres, taking in 2 microbreweries, 1 tavern, a historic diner and two beer-focused boutiques with savoury and sweet pairings, all tied to the history of Pointe-Saint-Charles, the Lachine Canal and New France, forever linked with beer.
