About this event

A food tour of Old Québec, widely called North America's most European city, where the local flavours take centre stage. Across five stops, amid cobblestone lanes and four-hundred-year-old architecture, you make your way through centuries of Québécois food culture, from rustic comfort cooking to refined regional ingredients. Things begin with earthy Lion's Mane mushrooms and duck breast carpaccio, followed by the holy trio of the traditional table: silky pea soup, savoury pâté chinois, and fresh maple taffy. Inside a two-hundred-year-old house, handmade gnocchi arrive bathed in cheddar, cream, shallot, and white wine, finished with a black garlic crumble. A sweet stop brings sucre à la crème and what many residents consider the best croissant in town, before you close things out the only proper way, with poutine. On Sundays and Mondays the gnocchi course gives way to a warming oat risotto topped with a rock shrimp salad. Group sizes stay small so every stop feels personal.
