Niagara Falls Walking Tour: Power Station, Tunnel & Skylon Tower

Seen from deep underground and then from high above the gorge, Niagara Falls reveals both its power and its sheer scale on this small-group guided walk. The route links the birthplace of hydroelectric power in North America with the skyline of the Fallsview district. You start at the historic power plant, the Niagara Parks Power Station, and walk through a 2,200-foot underground tunnel that brings you out at the edge of the river. From there, the group strolls along the crest of the Canadian Horseshoe Falls, right next to the rushing water. The finale is a ride in a glass elevator up Skylon Tower to its heated observation deck, high above the falls. It is a single walk that takes you from the bedrock under the falls to the skyline over them.
