Niagara Falls Festival of Lights Walk with Niagara Takes Flight

Winter in Niagara Falls, seen on foot: this guided walk begins at the Niagara SkyWheel and finishes facing the water itself. Your guide meets the group, then leads the way to Tim Hortons — a Canadian staple — where everyone picks a hot drink, whether cocoa, tea or coffee. From there the route follows the Niagara Parkway, punctuated by stories about how the city grew and how it marks the cold season. Dufferin Islands comes next, a stretch of parkland that each winter turns into a glowing display of light installations, sculptures and holiday scenes.
