The Penderecki String Quartet — Canadian quartet founded in 1986 and based at Wilfrid Laurier University (Waterloo) — performs for the Music Toronto series. Specialists of modern Canadian and European repertoire (Penderecki, Vasks, R. Murray Schafer) as well as the classics (Beethoven, Schubert). A refined chamber-music evening.
