About this event

The Martha Graham Dance Company at Victoria's Royal Theatre. Founded in New York in 1926, it is the oldest dance company in the United States and a cornerstone of modern dance. Graham's vocabulary, contraction and release, raw emotional expression, shaped Merce Cunningham, Paul Taylor and Twyla Tharp.
