Guitarist-vocalist John Pizzarelli and singer Catherine Russell pay tribute to three jazz giants, Ella Fitzgerald, Joe Pass and Oscar Peterson, at Toronto's Meridian Arts Centre. A duo critics have called essential, already praised for their Billie Holiday, Sinatra and Nat King Cole tributes. Loose swing, voice-and-guitar dialogue, deep Songbook classics.
