Jazz Is Dead presents French jazz-funk group Cortex, with guest DJ J.ROCC, at The Concert Hall inside Toronto's Masonic Temple. Led by pianist Alain Mion, Cortex cut Troupeau Bleu in 1975, an album later sampled by Tyler, the Creator, MF DOOM, Madlib and Kanye West. The Toronto date is part of a sixteen-city North American run staged by the Jazz Is Dead label. All ages.
