Saskatchewan's retro bluegrass star Jake Vaadeland plays the Bella Concert Hall at Mount Royal University in Calgary in an all-ages show. Hailing from Cut Knife, the banjo and guitar player blends old-time bluegrass with '50s rockabilly, and his album Retro Man ... More and More won the 2025 Juno for Traditional Roots Album of the Year. He is also the youngest artist to earn Road Gold certification.
