Guided Tasting Activity at Sake Brewery with 7 Kinds of Sake

This sake's fresh and pleasing flavour owes much to the use of a special spring water, drawn from the plentiful water resources of northern Ontario. All of the sake is made in the "Junmai" (pure rice) style, offered in several varieties for sale at the brewery store and tasting counter located at the Distillery site. The brewery began operating in February 2011 with advisory support from the venerable Miyasaka Brewing Co., Ltd. — whose activity in Japan reaches back to the 1600s and which currently produces sake under the MASUMI and MIYASAKA brands — together with consulting master brewer Yoshiko Takahashi, an award-winning brewmaster from the Nagano region of Japan.
