Guided Tasting Activity at Sake Brewery

This sake's fresh and delightful flavour owes a great deal to a special spring water, drawn from the abundant water resources of northern Ontario. Every sake is crafted in the "Junmai" (pure rice) style and offered in several varieties, available for purchase at the brewery store and tasting counter located at the Distillery site. The brewery began operating in February 2011 with advisory support from the venerable Miyasaka Brewing Co., Ltd. — whose activity in Japan reaches back to the 1600s and which today produces sake under the MASUMI and MIYASAKA brands — as well as guidance from consulting master sake brewer Yoshiko Takahashi, an award-winning brewmaster from the Nagano region of Japan.
