About this event
American pianist Garrick Ohlsson, the first American to win gold at the International Chopin Piano Competition (Warsaw, 1970), gives a recital at Toronto's Koerner Hall. A recognized Chopin specialist — he recorded the complete works for Hyperion — he is equally at home with Mozart, Beethoven, Liszt and Schubert. A Grammy winner in 2008 and chair of the 2025 Chopin Competition jury.
