About this event
Elvis the Concert screens archival Elvis Presley footage while live musicians play along on the McPherson Playhouse stage in Victoria. Built by Elvis Presley Enterprises from 1997, the show isolates Presley's voice from multitrack tapes and projects his performance on a large screen above the band. Guinness recognised it in 1998 as the first tour headlined by a performer no longer living.
