About this event
Palestinian dance company El-Funoun brings its collective work Ya Saheb Al Tair (The Bird Owner) to L'Olympia in Montreal. Founded in Ramallah in 1979, the troupe has led the revival of dabke and Palestinian folk music at home and across the diaspora, with more than 1,000 performances to its name. The piece reflects on each Palestinian's responsibility to their people, history and land.
