Nuno Coelho, conductor Luka Coetzee, cello Program: Ana Sokolovic: Ringelspiel (Merry-Go-Round) Saint-Saëns: Cello Concerto No. 1 Dvorák: Symphony No. 6 Canadian Luka Coetzee brings youthful fire to Saint-Saëns's Cello Concerto No. 1, a work of bold lyricism and dazzling invention. Ana Sokolovic's Ringelspiel whirls with playful motion, like a musical carousel suddenly set spinning, and Dvorák's Symphony No. 6 closes the program with lilting dance rhythms and a jubilant finale.
