Drumheller and the Badlands: Small-Group Day Trip from Calgary

A full day spent in Drumheller and the Alberta Badlands, travelling in a small group out of Calgary. The terrain ranks among the most unusual and breathtaking in the province, and the route shows two very different sides of it: the 'Bones & Stones' of the Royal Tyrrell Museum on one hand, the 'Cowboys & Coal Miners' of the Atlas Coal Mine on the other. Between those two anchors the day takes in more besides, moving from the region's deep past to its industrial chapter.
