About this event

The Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden in the heart of Vancouver's Chinatown is the first classical Chinese garden (Suzhou style) built outside China, opened for Expo

86. Designed by landscape architect Wang Zu-Xin, with Chinese artisans brought in from Suzhou. Traditional pavilions, koi ponds, Taihu rockeries and Asian medicinal plants. A meditative quiet space in the middle of the city.
