About this event

Doug and the Slugs, the Canadian rock band formed in Vancouver in 1977, plays Edmonton. The group left a mark on Canadian radio with Too Bad, Making It Work, Day By Day and Tomcat Prowl, picking up multiple Juno Awards in the 1980s. Brass-flecked pop-rock, round basslines and playful vocals — a legacy carried forward from founder Doug Bennett (1951-2004) by the band's longtime members. Retrospective set of around 90 minutes, drawing fans nostalgic for classic Canadian rock.
