The Dillinger Escape Plan takes over Vancouver's Commodore Ballroom. Formed in New Jersey in 1997, the band is a pioneer of mathcore, blending extreme metal, dissonance, odd time signatures and jazz fusion. Their album Calculating Infinity (1999) is regarded as a cornerstone of the genre.
