Experience
A guided walk through Toronto's oldest landmarks, from its first post office to the buildings that shaped what is now Canada's largest city.
The route lines up the city's record holders one after another: the oldest church, the oldest school, the first post office, the oldest theatre company, the oldest public market, and a historic brewery that once ranked as the biggest in the world.
Stops along the way include the Don Valley Brick Works, Little Trinity Church, the Enoch Turner Schoolhouse and the Alumnae Theatre, housed in what used to be Firehall No.
4. The walk also passes the Globe and Mail Centre, Kings Court, Toronto's First Post Office, St. Lawrence Hall and the Omni King Edward Hotel.
From there it moves through St. Lawrence Market and David Crombie Park before finishing in the Distillery Historic District.
