Mike Flanagan's Carrie, the first series adaptation of Stephen King's novel, screens at the Royal Alexandra Theatre in Toronto during TIFF. The Amazon Prime Video limited series stars Summer Howell as high-school outcast Carrie White and Samantha Sloyan as her fiercely protective mother Margaret. It plays as part of the Toronto International Film Festival's Primetime programme, on King Street West.
