Candlelight: 90s Hip-Hop on Strings at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights

About this event

Candlelight concert in Winnipeg: a string quartet reimagines 1990s hip-hop hits at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights. Tracks from Jay-Z, 2Pac and Lauryn Hill get classical arrangements under the glow of hundreds of flameless candles, with narration between pieces. The Candlelight series stages these evenings in the city's landmark spaces.
