Battle of Alberta junior hockey: the Calgary Hitmen host the Edmonton Oil Kings at Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary on Legacy Night. The WHL rivalry between the two Alberta clubs regularly produces tight games at the Saddledome. The Hitmen opened their farewell season in the building in September 2026 against the Red Deer Rebels.
