Bomber Command, Star Trek Vulcan & Blackfoot Crossing Tour from Calgary

Four stops south of Calgary make up this guided tour through geology, aviation history, pop culture and Indigenous heritage. It starts at the Okotoks Erratic, known as Big Rock, a massive boulder carried and dropped where it now sits by Ice Age glaciers. Next comes the Bomber Command Museum of Canada in Nanton, devoted to Canadian aviation during the Second World War, with historic aircraft and exhibits on show. The route then heads further south to Vulcan, Alberta, and the Vulcan Tourism and Trek Station, where Star Trek memorabilia fills the displays and themed photo opportunities are set up for visitors. The final stop is Blackfoot Crossing Historical Park, covering Siksika culture, Treaty No. 7 and the Indigenous history of Southern Alberta, closing an itinerary that ties four very different Alberta stories together.
