About this event
American jazz-funk-progressive quintet Butcher Brown (Richmond, Virginia, formed 2009): Marcus Tenney (trumpet/sax), Morgan Burrs (guitar), Corey Fonville (drums), Andrew Randazzo (bass), DJ Harrison (keys). A throwback to 1970s jazz-funk bands with a 21st-century twist — modern jazz fused with hip-hop, garage punk, future funk. Label Concord Jazz, albums #KingButch (2020) and Letters From The Atlantic (March 2025).
