Blair Ways Tours Immersive Urban Street Art Tour

Blair Ways Tours offers an immersive urban street-art tour paired with a reflection on accessibility. The aim is to broaden the minds of non-disabled people and deepen their understanding of people living with disabilities. I take only two non-disabled people out on tour each day. Here's the twist: you too will be "disabled" and will need a mobility device. That way you can experience what it means to move around the city using such a device, noticing accessibility flaws, building-design issues, or a complete absence of accessibility. As we tour, we'll be slipping in and out of alleys, because a secret beauty hides within Toronto's alleys: street art. I know many of the artists and, who knows, we might just run into one along the way. The tour sets out to reveal the beauty of the alleys, the outstanding talent of street artists, and what it feels like to use a mobility device, even if only for a couple of hours.
