New York synth-pop project Black Marble (led by Chris Stewart, based between Brooklyn and LA) plays Toronto with Public Circuit opening. Albums Bigger Than Life, It's Immaterial and Fast Idol — vintage synths, drum machines and detached vocals in the post-punk-electronic lineage of Cabaret Voltaire and New Order. Public Circuit rounds out the bill with a compatible cold wave / synthwave aesthetic. Club format, around
