Concert
Amorphis and Insomnium share a metal bill at Théâtre Beanfield in Montreal. Amorphis, formed in Helsinki in 1990, made their name with Tales from the Thousand Lakes, drawn from the Kalevala, before moving toward progressive and folk metal. Insomnium, from Joensuu since 1997, play melodic death metal built on darkness and loss, as on the album Winter's Gate.
