Aerial Silks Class at Château de Cirque

Aerial silks are taught at Château de Cirque, a historic Montreal building where two hanging lengths of fabric become the whole apparatus. Sessions cover the groundwork of the discipline: climbing the silks, wrapping into position, and coming back down under control. Everyone is welcome regardless of experience, whether this is a first attempt or a chance to sharpen technique already in place, and progress happens at each participant's own speed. Experienced instructors including Juan Luisangel Gongora and Arielle Gorodetskaya guide and correct as you go, in a supportive room where fumbling the first few tries is entirely expected. Leaving the floor behind, even briefly, is what makes aerial performance worth trying rather than only watching.
